About the Role :
This position is for McAfee product engineering group.
Key Responsibilities:
• Full lifecycle ownership of Application development.
• Provide input for technical documentation (e.g. design documents, specifications, test plans) to communicate with other team members cross functionally and cross geographically
• Accurately identify, enumerate, and estimate work tasks for project scheduling.
• Collaborate with QA to identify and remedy software defects.
Required Experience/Skills & Education:
Development Engineer : 3-5 years of Experience
Senior Development Engineer : 6-8 years of Experience
Principal Engineer : 8-10 years of Experience
• Software development experience using C++, STL,ATL, COM,Win32, Multithreading
• Familiar with full application development lifecycle for commercial software products.
• Strong Object-Oriented background.
• Strong debugging experience and Ability to analyze problems and identify solutions with minimal direction.
• Able to work well individually as well as part of a team
Education
• Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering in Computer Science from recognized Indian/foreign Universities.
• Preferred:
• Familiarity with SCRUM Agile development methodology
• Knowledge of any version management tool such as SVN, ClearCase etc
• Excellent communication skills
